Lobometrics outdoor amplifiers are integrate in a IP67 aluminum enclosure designed for optimum heat dissipation.

Lobometrics product range includes amplifiers for 2.4GHz 802.11b/g networks and for 5.XGHz 802.11a wireless networks, and on in range, Lobometrics offers specific models for 2, 3 or 4 antenna arrays.

The special circuitry of Lobometrics amplifiers allows them to adjust to "turbo speeds" of new wireless standards, and include a build-in specialized automatic gain control circuit, which allows the amplifier to accurately and automatically adjust to the specs of the wireless device. AGC offers a plug-and-play type functionality,  the AGC feature of the WiFi amplifier will adjust the gain up or down so that it always maintains a steady output power equal to it's rating regardless of changes in the input power or cable loss between the radio device and the WLAN amplifier. 

Lobometrics amplifiers will convert the transmit power of any wireless device to ranges from 1.000mW (1W) up to 5.000mW (5W). In addition to increasing the transmit power, the incoming receive signal is also amplified by a separate internal receive circuit.

Lobometrics amplifiers also feature a built-in PoE-In and PoE-Out interface. This allows single cable installations, the amplifier receives its power via the Ethernet cable to its PoE-In and sends it together with the data through its PoE-Out interface to the wireless radio. The integrated PoE system features integral lightning and surge protection individually protects the 4 data lines as well as protection for the power lines.
